چکیده

Plastic film mulching (PM) cultivation is an important measure to alleviate the seasonal shortage of water resources. Long-term nitrogen (N) fertilization under PM may be more conducive enhance ecological relationship between microbial communities involved in nutrient cycling. In this study, effects long-term application chemical N fertilizer (common prilled urea, PU) or no on community composition traditional flooding (TF) and were comparatively analyzed. The results demonstrated that regimes had significant impacts all soil properties except alkali-hydrolyzable N. Compared TF cultivation, increased pH available phosphorus (AP) by 1.14% 13.67% respectively decreased organic matter potassium (AK) 6.07% 8.39% respectively. Nitrogen levels AP AK, with increase 1.39 1.82 mg kg−1 PU treatment compared CK Neither nor influence richness (Chao index) diversity (Shannon index). However, played critical roles driving changes. Network analysis showed non-random co-occurrence pattern. Myrmecridium, Defluviicoccus, Emericellopsis, Pseudarthrobacter, Syntrophorhabdus keystone taxa. A higher relative abundance was observed CKPM a Myrmecridium Pseudarthrobacter PUPM treatment. Therefore, effective improve potential beneficial taxa communities. This article protected copyright. Molecular biomass and MetaTaxogenomic assessment of soil microbial communities as influenced by soil DNA extraction procedure

Three soil DNA extraction procedures (homemade protocols and commercial kit) varying in their practicability were applied to contrasting soils to evaluate their efficiency in recovering: (i) soil DNA and (ii) bacterial diversity estimated by 16S rDNA pyrosequencing. Significant differences in DNA yield were systematically observed between tested procedures. For certain soils, 10 times more DNA ...

Soil Carbon Dioxide Emission as Influenced by Irrigation, Tillage, Cropping System, and Nitrogen Fertilization

Soil and crop management practices can influence CO2 emission from crop and grasslands and therefore on global warming. We examined the effects of two irrigation systems (irrigated vs. non-irrigated) and six management practices [no-till malt barley (Hordeum vulgaris L.) with 67 or 134 kg N ha (NTBFN), notill malt-barley with 0 kg N ha (NTBON), conventional-till malt barley with 67 or 134 kg N ...

Microbial communities play important roles in modulating paddy soil fertility

We studied microbial communities in two paddy soils, which did not receive nitrogen fertilization and were distinguished by the soil properties. The two microbial communities differed in the relative abundance of gram-negative bacteria and total microbial biomass. Variability in microbial communities between the two fields was related to the levels of phosphorus and soil moisture. Redundancy an...

Long-term Fertilization Structures Bacterial and Archaeal Communities along Soil Depth Gradient in a Paddy Soil

Soil microbes provide important ecosystem services. Though the effects of changes in nutrient availability due to fertilization on the soil microbial communities in the topsoil (tilled layer, 0-20 cm) have been extensively explored, the effects on communities and their associations with soil nutrients in the subsoil (below 20 cm) which is rarely impacted by tillage are still unclear. 16S rRNA g...

Variations in eco-enzymatic stoichiometric and microbial characteristics in paddy soil as affected by long-term integrated organic-inorganic fertilization

To investigate the effects of different nutrient management regimes on the soil chemical, eco-enzymatic stoichiometric and microbial characteristics, soil samples were collected from a 30-year, long-term field experiment with six plots growing rice. The results showed that as integrated fertilization increased, so did the concentrations of soil total or available nutrients and microbial biomass...
